Based on the best-selling novel by Peter Benchley and directed by Steven Spielberg, the nailbiting drama tells the tale of a small New England seaside community terrorized by a

predatory great white shark during the busiest weekend of the tourist season.

On 22 May, Ben Folds takes to the stage with just a grand piano for company to play tracks both classic and current.

After focusing on large-scale live work with orchestras in recent years, this show recalls Ben’s original solo tours delivering high energy rock performances using only a piano.

There are few musicians that can draw on such a varied and vast body of work. Don’t be surprised to hear Ben Folds Five favourites followed by stripped back renditions of his more classical-leaning repertoire.

The real joy of a Ben Folds concert comes from the man himself, with his love for the music shining through on every occasion.
