Fundraising storytelling marathon to take place at Basingstoke Discovery Centre
A STORYTELLING marathon is to take place in Basingstoke Discovery Centre.
The Festival Place library will play host to a range of local community VIPs on Saturday, November 7 to raise money for Children in Need.
Firemen, dancers, farm workers and policemen are among the many visitors who will be dropping by to share their favourite picture books with visitors in the children’s library area.
Mayor of Basingstoke and Deane, Cllr Anne Court, will start the proceedings at 10am and the storytelling will continue well into the afternoon.
