NORTH East Hampshire MP Ranil Jayawardena met local artists when he officially opened the Basingstoke Art Club exhibition as part the Hampshire Open Studios event.
Mr Jayawardena spoke to Patsie O’Callaghan-Brown, at Yew Trees Art Studio, Monk Sherborne, about her pottery.
Jill Smith from the club said: “Sharing this venue with Yew Trees Art Studio gave members of Basingstoke Art Club the opportunity to discuss their work - which included paintings, ceramics sculpture and jewellery - with the many appreciative people who visited us.”
The Open Studios scheme, which is an annual event, ran in August throughout the county.
