HAMPSHIRE OctoberFest returns to the town soon, raising money for the Wessex Heritage Trust.
The Trust is a self-funding charitable organisation which assists heritage sites and cultural facilities across the region.
On October 10-11, enjoy over 150 different Hampshire beers, ciders and wines, live music, food and craft stalls, family friendly activities for children of all ages, and much more at Basingstoke Cricket & Sports Ground, Fairfields Road.
Rugby World Cup matches will be streamed live at the venue in the Upham Tent, so sports fans won’t miss out.
The Festival Tent music programme will bring you funk, punk, rock, ska and blues.
Compere Gary Myles will introduce performers old and new including Ded Orse, STUP!D, My Never Time, Red Head, Little Freddie and the Rock n Roll Flames and One Step Too Late.
There will also be music workshops out on the field, busking in the club bar and a full programme of music in the Upham Tent.
You can also enjoy beers, ciders, wines, live music, hot food, a fun fair and craft market at the Works Night Out event on Friday night, October 9, from 6pm until 11.30pm. Listen to acts including Groove Republic and Freeway Mad.
