THE next meeting of the Friends of the Willis Museum will commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.
Dr John Smith, archaeologist and historian, will give a presentation entitled The Battle of Britain over Basingstoke.
Models of the aircraft seen in action will also be used.
The meeting will take place at the Willis Museum on Thursday, September 17 at 7.30pm.
Admission is free to members and the visitor charge is £2.
Non-members must contact the museum at least two days in advance to reserve a seat – call 01256 365902.
