ADRENALINE-fuelled icons of the track and memorabilia from the titans of F1 have roared into life with the new display A Chequered History at Hampshire’s National Motor Museum, Beaulieu.
Families can enjoy two stories devoted to Grand Prix Greats and Road, Race & Rally, plus a new daily start-up gives visitors the chance to see Beaulieu engineers at work and hear some of the iconic vehicles.
See unique memorabilia including the helmets worn by seven F1 champions, trophies and race suits worn by Graham Hill, Lewis Hamilton, David Coulthard and Kimi Raikkonen.
During the Easter break, from April 3-19, race against friends with a giant Scalextric track, join the Car Hunt around the grounds and create a balloon-powered rally car.
Grand Prix Greats tells the story of Grand Prix motor racing from the Edwardian pioneers through to 21st century F1 cars, exploring the engineering excellence of these phenomenal machines and the men who drove them to their limit.
Road, Race & Rally features competition cars from many different disciplines displayed alongside historic road-going sports cars and honours the courage of their fearless drivers.
