WHAT makes the difference between a 12A and 15 scene and what material needs to be cut to secure a lower category?
Find out at a free talk on film classification at the Basingstoke Discovery Centre, Festival Place, on Monday, March 2.
The talk will be preceded by a screening of the hugely successful 2012 British horror film The Woman in Black, starring Daniel Radcliffe.
Heidi Renton from the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) will explain and dissect the legal and ethical considerations on which these decisions are based, with the opportunity for questions and discussion.
The film, which is rated 12, starts at 2pm.
There are 50 seats, and entrance is on a first come, first served basis.
