BESTSELLING author Judith Kinghorn will give a talk on The Last Summer, her First World War set debut novel, at Basingstoke Discovery Centre this month.

Judith Kinghorn has long been fascinated by the Edwardian period and the social and political changes wrought by the First World War.
Her bestselling début The Last Summer starts in a country house near Guildford in the summer of 1914.
Her second novel The Memory of Lost Senses, which is set in Hampshire, was selected as Lovereading UK’s book of the month in June 2013.
The talk starts at 2pm and tickets are £3.
