KEEPING the kids entertained during the October half-term can be a challenge.

But, research from Airkix Indoor Skydiving has shown that a week of playing computer games or a trip to the park will not keep youngsters entertained this year.

As part of the research, 1,600 parents with an interest in leisure-based activities were survey, with 98 per cent revealing that their children have more access to adventurous activities compared to when they were younger, and are increasingly willing to try them out as a family.

Simon Ward, CEO at Airkix, said: “Families are definitely becoming more adventurous and are keen to try something new and exciting, that they can all enjoy together.

“The fact our research reveals that 92 per cent of respondents are keen for their children to try out indoor skydiving is interesting as it truly reflects what we have been witnessing in our tunnels over the past 12 months.”

Airkix, at Basingstoke Leisure Park, offers a range of activities including an indoor ski and snowboard slope and a surfing simulator.
