TICKETS are now on sale for both of Basingstoke’s annual firework displays.
The events, Basingstoke’s Big Bang and the Hatch Warren fireworks, take place on the same evening – Saturday, November 1.
Basingstoke’s Big Bang (formerly the Mayor’s Charity Firework Fiesta), War Memorial Park
Gates open at 6pm, with the fireworks at approximately 7.30pm
THE bonfire is back for this event. Walls Funfair and Heart will be there to provide entertainment for all the family. Food and drink concessions will also be available.
Tickets: £7 for adults in advance (£8 on the night), £3 for children in advance (£4 on the night) and £16 in advance for a family ticket admitting two adults and two children (£20 on the night). Tickets are available from the Willis Museum, log on to basingstoke.gov.uk or call 0125 844844.
Hatch Warren Fireworks, Hatch Warren Community Centre, Longcross Lane
Gates open at 6pm, with the fireworks promptly at 7.30pm
THE Breeze FM will be there to deliver entertainment and competitions in the run up to the display at 7.30pm. The event is sponsored by Sainsbury's. The event takes place on the playing fields adjacent to the Hatch Warren Community Centre, in Longcross Lane.
There will be stalls, children's rides, hot food, (including a hog roast stand and a chilli tent), light ropes and sweets and drinks on sale plus a licensed bar.
Tickets: Family Ticket (two adults and up to three children) - Members £12, Non-Members £17. Adult Ticket - Members £5, Non-members £7. Children/Seniors - Members £2, Non-members £3. Purchase from the Community Centre Office (opening hours 9am-3pm Monday-Friday) or on the night.
