BASINGSTOKE Writers' Circle, celebrating its 26th year, welcomes author and performance poet, Steve Tasane.
This will be a fantastic evening for all Dickens enthusiasts. Steve was a writer-in-residence for the Dickens Bicentennial Celebrations, for which he produced the verse adaptation of The Old Curiosity Shop, and other Dickens inspired poems.
In spring 2015, Walker Books are publishing his contemporary take on Oliver Twist.
Meet Steve at this evening themed to the author on Tuesday, September 23 in London Street’s United Reformed Church.
Admission costs £2.50.
Doors open at 7.30 pm and the performance takes place from 8pm – 10pm.
There will be a break with free beverages and a buffet as well as a chance to purchase a signed copy from a selection of the author's books.
