GILBERT’s Games & Country Fair takes place at Gilbert White’s House in Selborne on August 2-3 between 10am and 5.15pm each day.

This jam-packed weekend of events has something for all the family.

Take part or compete in traditional 18th century games and pastimes all weekend, including Aunt Sally, croquet, trap and ball, melon rolling, crafts, a coconut shy, giant garden games, boot bowling and ferret racing.

Admissions throughout the weekend are at the reduced rate of £7.50 for adults and £2.50 for children (under 5s are free.) This provides access to the games and to the rest of the gardens, the museum and the award-winning tea parlour.
