FOUR very different artists will showcase their work in the summer exhibition at Sherfield Gallery.

Allie Giles, from Exeter, is exhibiting a body of work that is inspired by nature. She works with pen and ink to produce highly decorative and delicate tonal representations of animals.

Fergus Channon and John Whybrow have explored and played with concepts of line, space and sculpture in a playful series of experiments. Fergus Channon has exhibited widely including Cork Street in London. He was also nominated for a RIBA award for an installation commissioned by an NHS hospital.

Finally, Russell Bignold, the runner up for the gallery’s Open Exhibition 2014, has produced 12 new paintings for this show.

The private view will take place on May 2 from 6-8pm and the exhibition will then run from May 5 – June 18, 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday by appointment.
