OLIVER Double, author of Britain Had Talent: A History of Variety Theatre comes to Basingstoke Discovery Centre on Saturday.
He will tell you about the comedians, singers, dancers, acrobats, magicians, ventriloquists and other speciality acts who made variety what it was, and show you items from his collection of variety artefacts.
The talk begins at 2pm and costs £3.
