THE next talk presented by the Friends of the Willis Museum will be by local author Bob Clarke.

Bob recently appeared on TV on Michael Portillo’s Great British Railways Journeys series.

Bob’s subject will be William Frankin, 'the false Messiah of Overton', who, during the chaos following The English Civil War, conned 600 people into believing that he was the risen Christ.

This talk will take place at the Willis Museum on Thursday February 20, starting at 7.30 sharp.

Admission is free to members and costs £2 to non-members.

Because of seating restrictions, non members are asked to reserve a seat at least two days in advance by phoning the museum on 01256 465902.
