A SOLO exhibition of the work of Brookvale sculptor Stephen Towns is currently running at The Link Gallery in the University of Winchester.
Sculpture, Transformations & Equivalents presents wall mounted biomorphic sculptures and related drawings based upon an investigation of natural form.
These sculptures are inspired by mathematics, specifically its ability to model natural structures and processes.
Colour and surface are an integral part of the identity of these sculptures, and the sculptures have a visually complex and vibrant appearance.
They are abstract sculptures yet are evocative of a variety of natural forms seen in the natural world.
The show runs until February 24.
