THE latest Red Carpet Screenings Film Festival & Exhibition takes place at Central Studio on Saturday.

This promises to be another exciting evening of independent films including on-stage filmmaker interviews.

Founder and presenter Seb Hall will be joined by guest panellists BBC Radio Berkshire presenter and DJ Mike Read and film critic Paul Anderson.

The films to be screened on the evening include: Soul Matrix, a comedy by award winning local filmmakers Pork Chop Pictures; satirical fairy tale The Boy With A Camera For A Face by Spencer Brown and starring Steven Berkoff; Sophie Kenny’s Tippet; Tyrone Lewis’ crime drama Bliss: The Masquerade; supernatural drama Tanabata by Andreas Sheittanis; Monkey Dribble Film’s webisode Back To Young; and psychological thriller Audition.

Red Carpet Screenings has been staging film festivals, première screening events, and promotional PR activities designed to propel the world of independent film to the forefront of public attention since May 2010.

Seb said: "I am very proud to screen such a wonderful and varied collection of work at this event.

“The creative industries have seen huge changes over the past few years and I'm always keen to promote new opportunities to our independent media community.

“This town is home to some of the most talented film makers in the country and it’s an honour to bring their work to a live audience.” 

The action begins at 7pm.
