STORYTELLING captivates the imagination and The Watermill Theatre gives families two opportunities to share their love of a tale well told during the coming weeks.

On Saturday, September 14, Polly Highton will re-tell some of the great legends from Greek Myths, when gods and goddesses roamed the earth and mingled with humans.

These 40 minute family storytelling sessions are ideal for children aged four to seven years. Children should bring a cushion for sitting on the floor. Seats will be provided for adults.

Anthony Pedley, who played the BFG in the original stage production, makes a welcome return to The Watermill for The BFG Storytelling on Saturday 21 September.

Anthony will tell the story of Sophie and her adventures in Giant Country with the loveable, whizzpopping Big Friendly Giant!  All the major characters are brought to life in this tale of dreams, queens, giants, and snozzcumbers!

Greek Myths Storytelling: Saturday 14 September. Performances at 10am and 11am each lasting 40 minutes. Tickets £3 for either session, parents and children. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
