A BASINGSTOKE restaurant is aiming to become a Guinness World Record holder for the largest online photo album of roast dinners.
As part of its 30th birthday celebrations this year, Toby Carvery, in Winchester Road, is asking customers to get involved in the challenge by uploading pictures of their roast dinner to an album created on Toby Carvery’s website to smash the target.
The album must reach 50,000 photos in order to be successful in its attempt for the world record.
Gordon Marshall, manager at Toby Carvery, in Basingstoke, said: “Everyone who uploads an image can say they were part of a world record attempt, which is really great.”
Each person who uploads a picture as part of the world record attempt will receive a voucher to get a two-course meal for £6.50.
Pictures can be uploaded to worldrecord.tobycarvery.co.uk until September 12, and must include meat - turkey, pork, beef or nut roast - roast potatoes or mashed potatoes, a Yorkshire pudding, vegetables and gravy.
