RIVERFORD'S Pumpkin Day is legendary and with good reason.

It’s a real family-focused celebration of autumn, with children’s activities, farm tours, pumpkin carving and of course, lots of wonderful seasonal food.

The event takes place tomorrow, Saturday, October 25 from 11am-4pm at Upper Norton Farm, Upper Norton Farm, Sutton Scotney, Hampshire SO21 3QF.

Children’s activities include pumpkin carving, worm digging and vegetable games, or they can roll up their sleeves and paint spooky pictures, or make a googley-eyed worm in the creativity area.

They can join in with Spinney Hollow Green Wood Work to make their very own swords, wands and daggers.

There’s lots for the grown-ups to take part in too.

Enjoy live music, cookery demos, take a stroll around the polytunnels to see where the company’s veg comes from, or string some chillies to make an original Christmas present.

Everyone will get a sneaky first taste of Christmas food, and there will be plenty of organic food and drink to buy as well.

Entry is free, but some activities will have a charge (eg. face painting).

Take cash for refreshments as there are no card payment facilities or cash machines on site.

Dogs are allowed on the farm but must be kept on a lead. Due to hygiene reasons they are not permitted inside the barn.
