Next Laughter-House line-up features two very different comedians
11:10am Monday 25th February 2013 in Leisure
JAN Jack’s Laughter-House returns to The Red Lion Hotel next week.
The fantastic double headline bill features both Ian Cognito and Steve Day, both headline acts in their own right, and two very different performers.
Steve describes himself as “Britain’s only deaf comedian” - if there are any others, he hasn't heard about them. Married with five children, Steve, who has undertaken three national tours of the UK, has been described as “warm and witty” by the Scotsman and has received many other rave reviews whilst performing shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
A warm and endearing performer, audiences tend to love him.
Ian Cognito, however, embraces comedy of the less gentle sort. Confrontational and edgy, he takes the audience by the scruff of the neck, says things that everyone is thinking but doesn’t say, and delights in keeping them on the ends of their seats.
The evening, Thursday, March 7, will be compered by Laughter-House favourite Phil Dinsdale.
Tickets priced £12 are available from The Red Lion or via We Got Tickets through the Laughter-House website laughter-house.co.uk. Pre booking is advisable.
Doors open at 7.30pm and the show will start at 8.15pm.
