SEE the members of the Basingstoke Festival of Choirs at the following events in the run-up to Christmas:

November 29 - Carnival Chorus, The Malls, 12pm, Basingstoke Voluntary Services Christmas Fayre

December 2 - Sing Bramley, St. James's Church, Bramley, 3pm

December 2 - Basingstoke Choral Society, Handel’s Messiah, The Anvil, 7pm. Box office: 01256 844244

December 6 - Basingstoke Hospital Male Voice Choir and Basingstoke Choral Society, St Mary's Church, Old Basing, 7pm. In aid of Basingstoke Hospital Medical Fund

December 7 - Tadley Singers, St. Mary's Church, Tadley, 7.30pm. Free admission with collection for Church Funds

December 12 - Basingstoke Hospital Male Voice Choir, Carol Concert in Hospital restaurant, 7.45pm. Free admission

December 13 - Basing Singers, Light up a Life at St Mary's Church, Old Basing, 7.30pm. Free admission, collection for Naomi House Children's Hospice

December 14 - Basingstoke Ladies' Choir, Carnival Hall, 7.30 pm. Free admission

December 15 - Kingsclere Singers, Yule Sing – 6pm - 7.30 pm in St Mary's Church, Kingsclere, as part of the Christmas Tree Festival Weekend. Admission free, refreshments from 5.30pm

December 17 - Basingstoke Male Voice Choir, United Reformed Church, 7.30pm. Free admission

December 17 - Overton Choral Society Carol Concert, St Mary's Hall, 7pm, with Overton Primary School and Overton Sinfonia. Refreshments. Collection for Sebastian Action Trust

December 18 - Basing Singers, Carols at Viables Community Centre, Harrow Way, 7.30pm. Free admission, retiring collection for St Michael's Hospice and Naomi House Hospice. Mulled wine and mince pies will be served during interval

December 21 - Steventon Singers, Carol Service St Nicholas Church, Steventon, 7pm
