Two weeks left for cinema schemes to apply for Lottery funding

CINEPHILES on the lookout for funding for their venue, festival, archive or community cinema scheme in the South East have two weeks left before Creative England’s Film Culture Lottery Fund closes for applications.

The fund, which opened last month, has a total of £700,000 available for cinema projects in the English regions, as long as they increase opportunities for audiences to access and enjoy a broad range of film - specialised, mainstream and archive – outside London.

Applications are invited from cinemas, film archives, film festivals and other eligible organisations based in the English regions. Awards will range from £2,000 to £40,000, and the deadline for applications is November 30.

Applications for the Film Culture Fund can be made online via the Creative England website.  Find out more online at creativeengland.co.uk.
