BASINGSTOKE College of Technology has a number of places available on its BA (Hons) in education, starting in September.
This degree is designed to provide opportunities for teachers/trainers in the post-compulsory sector to develop knowledge and understanding in its social and educational context.
The course aims to develop professional academic skills of analysis, evaluation, research, presentations and report writing.
Viewed as a natural progression for teachers/trainers who have successfully completed the Certificate in Education, the course content includes general curriculum issues, factors influencing teaching and learning and organisational issues in education and training.
Emilio Di Pietro, a course co-ordinator for sport and sport and exercise sciences, who studied the BA in education at BCOT, said: "I found the course extremely flexible and it fitted in well around my work commitments.
"The college offers great resources for study and to be able to write my dissertation on the environment I was actually working in had lots of benefits."
