RETIREMENT apartments developer McCarthy & Stone has been awarded five stars for customer satisfaction in an independent survey conducted by the Home Builders Federation (HBF) for the ninth year running.

The announcement of the nationwide HBF Customer Satisfaction Survey sees McCarthy & Stone, which is currently selling a wide range of age-exclusive properties across Basingstoke, become the only UK housebuilder to have taken top marks every year since the scheme launched in 2005.

The HBF Customer Satisfaction Survey is currently sent to all purchasers of new homes eight weeks after they move in and asks them to rate areas such as service and the quality of their property.

From the results, each of the UK’s major housebuilders is then awarded a star rating from one to five.

In the latest set of results, the vast majority of buyers said they were happy with the overall quality of their new home and that they would recommend McCarthy & Stone to a friend.
