A KEY contributory factor to Miller Homes Southern bucking the trend in house sales is the MiWay scheme for purchasers.

MiWay means that buyers are able to pay 75 per cent of the price now and the remaining 25 per cent by 2018.

A typical example at Pinnacle, part of the regeneration scheme in Popley, is The Belford, which is a three-bedroomed home priced at £219,950. With MiWay, buyers need only pay £164,963 to make the house theirs.

The ground floor of The Belford has a dining and kitchen area, which runs the width of the house and features folding doors to the garden.

The first floor has a living area, bedroom and bathroom, and above are two further bedrooms, including the master suite with its own shower room.

There are five house styles available in three and four-bedroomed designs at Pinnacle and one remaining one-bedroomed apartment.

Using the MiWay figures the apartment, which is priced at £119,950, can be bought for £89,963, and a three-bedroomed house starting at £239,950 could be purchased for £179,963.

Ann Crick, sales director for Miller Homes Southern, said: “If potential purchasers have not yet sold their existing property, we may be able to help with part-exchange. With no chains to break down or further fees, to find this type of hassle-free move suits many people.”

The selling agent is Connells in Basingstoke.
