Alton College celebrated their best ever A Level results examination results this year. With over 99% of all A Level students achieving pass grades and half of the grades being the highest A and B grades and 15 successful entrants to Oxford and Cambridge universities, the College retains its position as one of the highest performing in the country.

Alton College offers a wide range of courses at all levels including A Level, Advanced Vocational, International Baccalaureate, BTEC National and first diplomas, GCSE and entry level courses.

Adult learners are welcomed to Alton College to undertake creative courses or leisure activities, to learn a new skill or to gain a qualification for returning to work or career progression. Open Days provide an opportunity for us to offer you advice and help you find exactly what you are looking for. And for you to meet the tutors.

Alton is a purpose-built Sixth Form College with award winning, modern buildings. State-of-the-art facilities built over the last 5 years include a Sports Hall, a Learning and Resources Centre and Library; a Beacon Science Centre; an innovative Art and Music Centre with specialist Art Studios, Music suites, recording studios and practice rooms; the new Berkoff Performing Arts Centre with a Theatre, specialist Dance Studio and rehearsal rooms; the superb new Austen building for English, Humanities, Modern Languages and Media, including state-of-the-art TV filming and edit facilities; and a hi-tech, specialist Engineering centre due for completion at the end of 2009.

The College welcomes prospective 6th form students and their parents to the Open evenings which will take place on October 15th and 22nd 2009 from 6.30pm-9pm
