A GAELIC football team from a Burghclere school will compete in a regional tournament this month.
Year 7 pupils from The Clere School and Technology College will travel to Birmingham to compete against schools from the midlands tomorrow.
Jim Hawkshaw, assistant headteacher, introduced the pupils to the game.
He said: "They like that it's a mixture of many sports. It's a contact sport - it's very fast and there's little time to think."
