MEMBERS of Oakley and Deane WI went home from their October meeting very much inspired by the many items of needlecraft displayed by Annette Williams, which she had designed and made with Christmas in mind.

These included knitted items, the most exquisite patchwork items ranging from quilts to accessories, rag dolls, cards and decorations.

Reports were given on the various recent activities which included afternoon tea at Oakley Hall, a skittles evening and the group autumn meeting.

Reminders were given about future events which include a jumble sale the federation autumn meeting at The Anvil, the group skittles competition and a visit to The Haymarket to see My Fair Lady.
