BRAMLEY Lunch Club: Met on October 10, and welcomed two new members David and Pat, who soon made friends and enjoyed the social atmosphere.
Tea and coffee started the day, then two quizzes set by Gill and Judy, with David winning the prize of a free lunch at the next meeting.
The lunch menu was creamy chicken casserole with beans fresh from Judy's garden followed by cherry pie and cream.
The next meeting will be held on November 14, in the Bramley Room at the village hall. Contact Pat on 882441.
BRAMLEY Voluntary Care Group: The AGM will be held on November 14, at 2pm, in the Bramley Room at the village hall, immediately after the lunch club. All are welcome to attend to hear of the work and plans for the future.
The group organises the voluntary car service taking residents who are unable to use public transport to health appointments.
FUNGI Foray: At The Vyne on Sunday, there will be a guided walk in Morgaston Woods, hunting for fungi from 11am to 1pm. Contact 01256 883858 for details.
