THE Annual Grand Autumn Supper and Table Quiz: Is taking place this Saturday, at the village hall from 7pm for 7.30pm. There will be a licensed bar.
Tickets are £10 for adults, £5 for under-16s, and are available from Monica Tilley on 351204, Pat Rampton on 461034, Bob Kew on 326817 or Ben Maunder on 327859.
STARGAZING: Next Thursday, October 25, at the Basingstoke Astronomical Society’s fortnightly meeting, Dave Shave-Wall will give a talk about “Curiosity” – the rover currently roving around Mars.
The meeting takes place at Cliddesden Primary School from 7pm.
