HORTICULTURAL Society: Next Thursday, October 25, at the Cliddesden Millenium Hall we welcome the Candover Valley Gardening Club for a joint meeting at 7.45pm.
Popular local policeman Andy Reid will be giving a talk entitled “Local Villains”. There will also be a quiz, raffle, nibbles and refreshments.
In addition to regular attendees, any prospective new gardening club members who may be interested in coming along should contact Steve Bowcutt on 324707 or Marilyn Smith 462584 for more information.
ELLISFIELD Ladies Club: Last Monday, the Pudding Club was held at the Memorial Hall, where members were treated to a starter and wine followed by a selection of puddings to try. A full report and results to follow next week.
CONCERT by Hampshire Police Band: Theresa Webb, director of our beautiful choir – The Belles of St Martins – is guest soloist at the concert to be held at Queen Mary’s College in Basingstoke at 7.30pm on Saturday.
