ST STEPHEN’S Church skittles evening: Takes place today, at 7.30pm at the AWE Rec Soc.
Entry is by ticket only, £6 for adults and £3 for children, available from Les on 0118 0813528.
COUNCILLOR’S Surgery: Local county councillor, Marilyn Tucker, will be manning a stand in Sainsbury’s on Saturday, from 11am until 1pm.
QUIZ Night: Heath End Village Hall is holding a quiz night on Friday, October 26, at 8pm.
The quiz is being held to help raise money for the Guide Dogs for the Blind to enable the purchase of a puppy, to be trained in the name of Pam Williamson, a well-known local resident who passed away recently.
Tickets are £10, which include a light supper, and are available from Penny Waterfield on 0118 9811549.
