ORCHARD Festival at The Vyne: On Saturday, from 11am to 5pm, The Vyne will hold the popular autumn Orchard Festival.
There will be many species of apples for you to taste and buy. Garden staff will be on hand with advice on planting your own apple trees and giving gardening tips.
Stalls will display local crafts and produce and Morris dancers will be there to entertain you. Contact 01256 883858.
LIFEBOATS Christmas Fair: Will be held on November 17, from 9.30am to 3pm.
The organisers are requesting good quality items for sales. Seasonal goods, cakes and preserves, costume jewellery, collectables and children’s toys in particular.
RNLI Christmas cards and souvenirs will be on sale. Contact 01256 881182.
KNITTING Circle: The response for wool has been overwhelming and the knitters say no more needed thanks.
The next meeting will be held at Vestis, on October 30.
ARTHRITIS Research UK: Catrina, a local organiser, will shortly be distributing the ARUK Christmas catalogue, so please give your support to this worthy cause, as Catrina works to raise £500 this year.
