JUMBLE Sale: Oakley Scout Groups are holding a jumble sale from 2pm this Saturday, at East Oakley Village Hall.
Items can be left at the hall on the morning of the sale from 10am but no bulky items please.
MOBILE Library: The next visit of the library is to Kennet Way on Monday, from 1.30pm to 4pm.
COFFEE mornings: With the weather getting cooler, pop along to the Coffee and Chat mornings at East Oakley Village Hall every Wednesday, from 10am to noon. All are welcome, and costs only 50p.
CHILDREN’S Christmas Competition: It may be early to think about Christmas but there is a competition for under-16s, who live in the villages covered by the magazine, to design the front cover of the Christmas edition of village magazine The Link.
Entries should be dropped in to 8 Caithness Close by Friday, November 9.
AUTUMN Walks: Jolly Olly’s have nature walk packs, suitable to entertain children aged five plus with outdoor challenges.
The packs can be borrowed for a small refundable deposit.
