LAST chance this year: To kick up some leaves and experience Tylney Hall’s autumn splendour this Sunday, on their final National Garden Scheme Open Day of the season from 10am to 5pm.
Featured in the October issue of Hampshire Life, the landscaped 66 acres influenced by Gertrude Jekyll feature extensive woodlands, lakes, a large water and rock garden, dry stone walls and an Italian garden discovered under a tennis court!
DIB dib dib: News from The Den! At the Scout Hut, our Beaver and Cub Scout packs are going strong, 20 members each with waiting lists, so as a result our group Scout Leader Richard Whistler is looking to re-start the Big Scout Group next year.
We are looking for a leader and assistant leader(s) to run this section when our young ones reach 10-and-a-half to 14 years.
If you are able to spend a couple of hours a week to help instruct this age group and continue their village Scouting experience, do give Richard a ring on 763118.
