WEDDING Fayre: For all you brides and grooms planning a wedding, why not go along to the Oakley Hall Wedding Fayre this Sunday? There promises to be lots to see with more than 50 exhibitors. It is open from 11am to 4pm, with free admission.

HARVEST Service: St Leonard’s Church, Oakley, is holding their Harvest service this Sunday, at 10am. Harvest gifts of tinned and packaged, non-perishable food would be gratefully received at the service.

All gifts are going to The Besom, which is a national organisation which distributes food to families in need in the local area.

OAKLEY Woodlands group: Is continuing with their autumn programme of work in St John’s and Cowdown copses. This Saturday, at 10am, they will be at Cowdown, where new volunteers will be very welcome. All tools and equipment is provided. Just come along in appropriate clothing and footwear. Contact Barry on 782494 for more information.
