HARVEST Festival: There was an autumnal feel at St Martin’s, as more than 50 people attended the Harvest celebration on Sunday.
Generous donations of harvest produce were collected for May Place.
A permanent basket in support of the Tressell Trust’s new food bank in Basingstoke has now been installed in church for yearround donations of nonperishable food items.
HORTICULTURAL Society: Steve Bowcutt, S and A Hudson and Pat Doel scooped some of the top prizes at the recent Summer Show with Emma Ilsley winning the under-12 category.
QUIZ Night: At the Fox Inn this Sunday. The fun starts at 8pm, with cash prizes for the winning team and runners-up.
YOGA: From next week, there will be just one weekly class in the village hall at 7pm every Thursday until Christmas.
