BREW up: Please make time to go to the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning and help us to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Please join me tomorrow, at 11 Poplar Close, from 9am to noon.

All donations of help and cake will be greatly appreciated.

CHEERS: The fifth annual Sherfield-on-Loddon Beer Festival last Saturday, was a great success helped by the fantastic weather.

Whiskey Bottom Road, 45 RPM and Clockwork Fly were the live bands with acoustic sessions from Lex Rose and Dan Owers. Proceeds will go to St Michael’s Hospice and Sherfield-on-Loddon Village Hall.

POPPY Appeal: Please help keep the Olympic volunteer spirit alive by volunteering to become a Poppy collector during this year’s Poppy Appeal.

Poppy collectors are urgently needed in Sherfield Park and Sherfield Village from Saturday, October 27, and Saturday, November 10.
