OAKLEY Ladies: Meet fortnightly, normally on a Tuesday evening during school term time. On Tuesday, September 25, Kelly is buffing and polishing nails. If you fancy trying out the group, contact Marlene on 780032 or Marie on 780287 for more information.

They say that walking is one of the best forms of exercise, so why not join the Oakley Ramblers Club for their next walk. It is on Sunday, September 30, from the Oakley schools lay-by. Meet at 9.20am for a 9.30am start. Contact Alan and Celia Howlett for details on 780039.

OAKLEY Football Club: Is recruiting teams for the next season, so if you have a son or daughter who would like to join an age group, please contact Caz Gregory, the secretary, on 07879 622699.

They are also looking for volunteers to help out at the club and would be grateful for any time you could offer.
