COMMUNITY Litter Pick: Will be taking place this coming Sunday.
Volunteers to meet outside St Michael’s Hospice shop at 2pm. The aim is to finish at about 4pm.
The mayor and mayoress will hopefully join in at 3.30pm for the last half-hour. ASDA have organised for some litter picking equipment (gloves, high-visibility vests, sacks, and litter picker grabbers) to be available but please bring your own equipment too if you have it.
WEEKLY Coffee Morning at Church of Christ the King: Will resume tomorrow, after the summer break. You will be very welcome to come along between 9.15am and 11.45am for a cup of tea or coffee and a cake and friendship.
OPEN Door Group: Starts on Thursday, September 13, at Church of Christ the King at 2pm.
This small friendly group will meet for ten weeks to learn about the basics of Christianity.
