COFFEE Break: From 10.30am to noon at the Methodist Church on September 14.

PLOUGHMAN’S Lunches: On September 20, in the Parish Room at noon. Denise on 351295 is requesting donations of surplus apples for her popular crumbles.
EVENTS reminder: Jumble, this Saturday, from 2pm, and the Village Show on Sunday, from 2.30pm, both in the village hall. Carnival on the Recreation Ground on September 15 from 2pm, and “Treats and Trinkets” on September 16, between 2pm-5pm at 99, Cavalier Road.
