CAMROSE Medical Centre Opens: The new medical facility for South Ham, located in Western Way, has opened its doors. The Camrose Medical Centre houses a doctors’ surgery, dentist and a pharmacy. These are much-needed improved medical facilities.
ST ANDREW’S Methodist Church: Located on the same site as the Camrose Medical Centre is the newl-built St Andrew’s Methodist Church. The church held its opening service last Saturday. Sunday worship is at 10.30am.
The church is running a ‘Mug and Biscuit’ café.
The café is open in the foyer of the church on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 10am to noon, and Friday, from 2pm to 4pm.
ST MICHAEL’S Hospice shop: The hospice shop, in Kings Road, urgently requires DVDs and ‘Mills and Boon’ books. If you have any of these items spare, they will be appreciated by the hospice shop.
