COMMUNITY beat surgery: WPC Barbara Bradley will be at Jolly Olly’s on Monday for a drop-in session where residents can discuss policing matters in Oakley. Check with Olly for the time!
MOBILE Library stops: Monday, in Kennet Way, 2pm to 4pm, and in Petersfield on Wednesday, 11.20am to 11.50am.
OAKLEY Ramblers: Are walking on Sunday this week: meet in the school layby at 9.20am for a 9.30am start. Please contact the walk leaders on 780193 for details.
PARK Farm Horse Show: Takes place on Sunday, with all sorts of classes for horses and ponies. There will also be a dog show.
OAKLEY Show on August 4: Needs helpers between 9am and 11am to put up marquees and set out chairs etc, and then again at 4.45pm to put everything away.
Donations of paperback fiction books are also wanted, so if you can help, contact 781541. Schedules are available from the Post Office, V & B Butchers, Pippins, Jolly Olly’s and Bluehouse Estate Agents and there is still time to enter some of the many classes.
