IT’S show time!: The Hook Choral Society are hosting their ever-popular annual Summer Supper and Singfest this Saturday, at the Elizabeth Hall, Hook, starting at the earlier time of 7pm, just to fit everything in!
Tickets £12, include a two-course meal during the interval. As we go to press there is a waiting list, but if you ring Helen on 766522 you may get lucky. Alternatively, if the weather’s kind, bring a picnic and listen outside under the stars!
HOW does their garden grow?: Come along and see this Sunday and Monday, as Richard and Sue Whistler open their famous Rotherwick cottage garden yet again for the National Garden Scheme charity!
Featured on television, calendars and jigsaws, the garden at 1 Wogsbarne Cottage, The Street, will be open from 2pm to 5pm each day, with plants for sale and tea served in aid of St Michael’s Hospice.
