FLOWERS and cream teas: Come along tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday, to St James’ Church, Bramley, to see a wonderful display of floral art on the theme of “Celebration”.
There will be displays by the church flower team and Bramley and Romans Floral Society. Delicious cream teas will be served in Cross House.
The church will be open from 10am to 5pm. There is no charge but donations would be appreciated. Enquiries to 889040.
OPEN Gardens: On July 1, from 2pm to 5pm, gardens will be open in Bramley at Manor Barn, Cufaude Lane, Oakview, The Street, Oaklea, The Street, Rahma, The Street, 7 Ringshall Gardens and 9 Longbridge Road, where refreshments will be available. Entrance £2.50 to all of the gardens.
This event is to raise funds to support the Bramley Show, which in turn supports organisations for youth in the village. Enquiries 881691.
LAND’S End to John O’Groats: Please sponsor Sandra and Nigel Bird, as they take their unsupported tandem ride to raise funds for St Michael’s Hospice.
