TONIGHT: Basingstoke Astronomical Society will hold a practical meeting at Cliddesden Primary School from 7pm.
PUPPET Show: There is still time to get your tickets for Travels with Granddad, on Saturday 11, from 2.30pm. This is a puppet show suitable for children of all ages – and adults, too.
In association with Hog The Limelight, a HCC initiative, all proceeds go to maintaining the village hall, so please do come along and support the production – use it or lose it! Tickets from Angie on 475848 or Annie on 474656.
MEN’S Zumba: On Thursday, February 23, the village hall will host a Men’s Only Zumba class, in aid of Orchid – funding research and raising awareness of male cancers.
This is a very worthwhile cause, and the class will be really good fun and easy to follow, but an excellent workout. Wayne Rooney credited his excellent start to the season on his Zumba classes, so it’s got to be worth a try! Further information and tickets (£10 – 100 per cent of which will go straight to Orchid) from maz.pennington@gmail.com.
