BEAUTY and The Beast pantomime: Is being performed in the village hall tomorrow and Saturday. Only a few tickets left, so phone 0118 9815600.

FUTURE dates for your diary: A Roman talk by Professor Michael Fulford is taking place on March 23; Fun Run is on May 12; and HM The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee will be celebrated in the village on Monday, June 4.

VILLAGE Hall Auction: The next date is now set for February 25, starting promptly at 10am. Goods in from 6.30pm on February 24.

VILLAGE Market: Starts once more on Saturday, from 10am to noon in the village hall.

DIGITAL Switch: Next Wednesday is stage one. Make sure that if you have not got Sky programmes, you have contacted the numbers on the literature sent to every house.

FRIENDSHIP Circle: The next meeting takes place on February 14, at 25 Dukes Ride, starting from 10am
