BRAMLEY Show: The organisers have announced the date of the show will be August 18 in Bramley Village Hall.
The photography subjects will be Fun in the Garden, My Pet, A Bramley View, A Sporting Activity.
The subjects are for both adults’ and children’s classes.
KNITTING Circle: The next meeting will be on Tuesday, at Meadow View, The Street.
The group are making bonnets and jackets for the hospital maternity unit as well as jumpers for children in Zimbabwe and Uganda and special scarves for sailors. All help welcome, and wool is available. Contact 880368 or 881723.
PARISH Council: Met on January 16. The parish council information and newsletter has recently been distributed.
On the item Community Speed Watch, a report from Councillor Chris Holland stated that there had been two volunteers.
More are needed. If you are interested there is a slip on page eight of the newsletter for you to complete. There was a discussion concerning the need for land for allotments and the possible need to close some of the existing plots.
