BEAUTY and the Beast pantomime: Is taking place in the village hall tomorrow and Saturday and February 3 and 4.

FUTURE dates for your diary: A Roman talk by Professor Michael Fulford, March 23; Fun Run, May 12; The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee will be celebrated in the village on Monday, June 4.
VILLAGE Hall Auction: The next date is now set for February 25, starting promptly at 10am. Goods in from 6.30pm on February 24.
PHOENIX Club: Meets on Wednesday, February 1, at 2pm, in the Club Room, when the speaker will be Mr Chris Poole.
His subject is going to be “Communism to Democracy in Bulgaria”.
VILLAGE Market: Starts once more on Saturday, February 4, from 10am to noon in the village hall.
